Many stories included in this Chinese edition of Aesop's Fables are well-known throughout the world, such as The Fox and the Grapes, The Tortoise and the Hare, The North Wind and the Sun, The Boy Who Cried Wolf and The Ant and the Grasshopper.

The book comes with Chinese characters and the Pinyin (phonetic transcriptions), and includes a VCD that children can enjoy watching on TV or computer.
