How to say mom, dad and baby in Chinese?

Beginning today, I am starting a new series: Bilingual Baby. Irregularly, a new post will be published on how to read and pronounce Chinese.

This series begins with the simplest single Chinese word for daily usage, then phrases, sentences, grammars, colloquiums, historical and cultural backgrounds, stories and etc. Each Lesson is an individual entity with its own theme, but also connects with other lessons in content.

Baby solid food

From the first day I introduced solid food to DD, I decided to make my own baby food instead of using store bought. In this way I can guarantee there was no added saturated fat, sodium, sugars, artificial colors or other chemical additives. And I can guarantee it is made from fresh vegetables, fruits, and meat.

Baby training, month 7

Each baby is a unique individual and meets his/her milestone at his/her own pace.

During month 7, DD started to expand her attention-getting repertoire to include more than crying. She blew “raspberries” and babbled, sat and stood with support, objected when her favorite things were taken away, worked to get a toy that was beyond her reach, passed a toy from one hand to the other, and sometimes picked up tiny objects with her thumb and fingers. Her baby training in this month emphasized on more crawling, sipping, simple principle and language trainings.

Baby’s growth, month 7

This month I introduced solid food to DD. She enjoyed fruits, enjoyed sweet potato and spinach, was fine with rice cereal and oatmeal. She accepted steamed and grinded green beans. She began to have the idea of attention. She smiled when I interacted with her, and screeched when I ignored her. She learned to pass a toy from one hand to the other, bear some weight on her legs when held upright, and “blow raspberry”. She also formed a bad habit of staying up late at midnight.
