I cannot believe one year has passed by and my daughter attended the Chinese new year performance the second time!

In 2014, she went to the kindergarten in Chinese school to learn pinyin and simple Chinese words. Therefore, attending Chinese dancing class is no more the major way to immerse her into a Chinese language environment, but become a way for her to make friends and expose to Chinese culture.

How beautiful! A lovely performance. Totally cool that you are raising your daughter bi-lingual and with knowledge of her heritages. My mother was born in Switzerland and my brother and I have been involved with languages, music and dance since I can remember. There are not the same opportunities for me and my children, living in the country, but we do what we can.
