After my last bleeding 3 weeks ago, I have been extremely careful with myself: no heavy lifting, no long-time standing, no large-scale housework, and be cautious of any pain inside my tommy. I also checked myself more frequently for any blood-tinged drop or clots.
Everything seems fine until yesterday afternoon….
I went to the bathroom, just thinking how good it is that I had no bleeding for 3 weeks. Suddenly, I saw something pink on the toilet paper. Quickly I checked myself again with another piece of toilet paper. This time I saw one dark red blood-tinged clot.
THIS IS NOT GOOD!!
I immediately went out of the bathroom and lay down on the bed, praying to the God to help stop any bleeding. Because it was really not good time to go to the emergence room: it was December 26, right after Christmas. A lot of places are not open yet. It started to snow from noon and the snow became bigger and bigger. And the worst was: M is not at home, and driving on the snow is definitely not easy…
All I could do was lying on the bed and praying to God to stop any bleeding.
After lying on the bed for 45 minuets, I went to the bathroom, curious to see whether I had any more bleeding. Thanks God! No more bleeding!!
I was not sure what caused the bleeding this time, but I am sure no bleeding in pregnancy is a good thing, especially during the second and third trimester. Therefore, I need to be careful and protect myself, for the safety of my own and my unborn baby!
