At this early stage of my baby development, I don’t want make our communication too complicated. With this idea in my mind, I created a simple song for my baby:

Baby and mommy, mommy and baby;
Baby is mommy’s baby, mommy is baby’s mommy;
Baby kisses mommy, mommy kisses baby;
Baby loves mommy, mommy loves baby.

It sounds very simple, but I think it is good to my baby at this stage, since my baby is only at the 4th month of gestation and his/her ears just began to form and develop.

Although this song is simple, it reveals enough information to the baby:
1. the relationship between me and the baby;
2. my emotions towards the baby;

Meanwhile, simple song is easier to me to remember and repeat. I can also change the order of the lines at my will.

Besides, since the wording of the song is so simple, I can sing or talk it to my baby via the second language.

Baby’s daddy, M, laughed at this song when he heard me singing to the baby. He thought it was too simple, and a little bit silly. He created a more complicated song, but forgot the wording the second time when he wanted to repeat it.
