Time flies when you have fun. I cannot believe, once again, it is Thanksgiving. It seems last year’s Thanksgiving is just several weeks ago.
This year, I am thankful for the grace of God which has allowed my family to stay healthy, safe and sound for a whole year around. Although DD got sick in March early this year, it was the only time she was sick since she arrived. Thanks to God’s watchfulness and our care, she recovered pretty soon (see What to do when baby is sick…). No matter what we have and how much we have, health is always the biggest wealth (see Health vs wealth).
I feel grateful that M is still employed until this day. Considering the double digits unemployment rate nationwide, it is truly a blessing that food is still brought onto the table, we still have a shelter above our heads, and all the medical bills are paid off. During this harsh economic time, nothing is more precious than a stable job that secures the basic needs.
Who else I feel indebted to?
Millions of nameless people who make our peaceful, organized, simple and routine life possible, a lot of whom I probably will never get a chance to know.
May God bless them for helping making our world a better place to live!
