Noddy is a character created by British children's author Enid Blyton (1897 – 1968), one of the most successful children's storytellers of the twentieth century.
The Noddy books, intended for young readers, are Blyton's most successful book series. And Noddy is one of her most widely known characters. However, her main work is the genre of young readers' novels in which children have their own adventures with minimal adult help.
