Gulliver's Travels is a 1939 American cel-animated Technicolor feature film, as an answer to the success of Walt Disney's box-office hit Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The story is based upon the Lilliputian adventures of Gulliver depicted in Jonathan Swift's 18th century novel Gulliver's Travels.
The film opens with Gulliver washing up on a mysterious island after his ship sinks on a stormy night. It is revealed that the island, Lilliput, is inhabited by very small people. He becomes the capture of Technicolon. But gradually, Gulliver becomes the friend of Technicolon.
At this time, King Little, ruler of Lilliput, and his friend, King Bombo of the neighboring and equally minuscule island of Blefuscu, are planning a wedding between their children: Princess Glory of Lilliput and Prince David of Blefuscu. However, the princess has already had a lover. Then Gullivcr resolves the dispute between the two countries and help princess and her lover be together.
Now your child can share Gulliver's adventure in three languages (Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese and English) and with concealed subtitles in simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese and English. All the menu options are in English and Chinese.
